First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov proposed by the end of the year to develop the concept of a law regulating the control model for unmanned aerial vehicles, including the use of near outer space and the earth’s troposphere. He gave such an instruction to ANO NTI Platform.
“It is necessary to develop a concept of regulation that would describe this situation. Because here a complex configuration of various participants arises, which today are regulated by their own laws – aviation, space activities – everyone has their own interests. It should be spelled out for them who does what. This will create a regulatory space for companies to start working together in a common legal space.”
